I am a senior undergraduate student at Columbia University majoring in Computer Science, with a strong foundation in wireless sensing, mobile computing, and computer networks. My research interests intersect wireless security, IoT, and HCI, with an emerging focus on integrating deep learning models with mobile and resource-constrained devices.

Through research internships and collaborative projects, I have developed expertise in applying computational methods to real-world challenges, from biometric authentication to mobile microrobotics.

At Columbia, I was fortunate enough to work with Prof. Xia Zhou, Prof. Gil Zussman, and Prof. Eugene Wu.

I am applying for Ph.D. programs starting Fall 2025, exploring the area of mobile systems and wireless communication.

Selected Projects

Simulated In-the-Wild Dataset for NIR Palm Vein Recognition

At Mobile X Lab under Prof. Xia Zhou, I developed data collection protocols for 100 participants, designed quality metrics for NIR palm vein images, and benchmarked models like ResNet18 and ViT-B/16. I introduced metrics such as Friction Rate to evaluate robustness and privacy and analyzed demographic biases.

Phaser: Laser Power Delivery for Mobile Microrobots

At Mobile X Lab with Prof. Xia Zhou, I developed a wireless laser power delivery system using a MEMS mirror and event camera, achieving 91% optical throughput and enhancing microrobot mobility.

Development of a 140 GHz Channel Sounder for ISAC

At Wimnet Lab with Prof. Gil Zussman, I integrated a 140 GHz sounder with LiDAR and camera systems, optimized data filtering, and conducted urban measurement campaigns in NYC. This work demonstrated applications for smart city traffic monitoring and is being prepared for publication.

Earable Camera System for Pedestrian Safety

At LION Lab under Prof. Hongzi Zhu, I developed 3D object detection and depth estimation algorithms for mobile devices, reducing alert inaccuracies significantly with low latency and power consumption.
